TW Fisher is on a ROLL at The RIM… TW and his #61 machine have came a long way since his time in the Pro Four Trucks at Highland Rim.. With several still races to go TW has already bagged 2 feature wins and he continues to climb in the point standings even though he has not racing a full schedule at the Rim this year.
His most recent win was our last Late Model race on Aug 31st. On that Saturday TW Fisher and Crew Chief Wayne Grubb worked steadily on the 31W Insulation Sponsored Impala throughout the day.. Come race time their hard work paid off as TW methodically worked traffic & got to the front of the pack to claim his second win of the season.. TW’s car (owned by Wayne and Jean Day) appeared to be on a rail as he worked his way around other competitors taking the lead and then proceeded to show everyone at the track that he was the class of the field as he worked the lapped traffic.
TW has already confirmed that he and his 31 w Insulation Impala will be here in force on SEPT 21st for the BIG SUPER STAR 100 Lapper presented by Cumberland International Tractor and Equipment.. This big 100 lap race is approaching 18 confirmed entries and it from the looks of things we could have the largest field in 10-15 years attempt to make the field in the Cumberland International Tractor & Equipment 100 lapper.. The race pays $2000.00 to the Winner plus it has $1000.00 in lap money up for grabs from local sponsors like Full Throttle Racing parts and Equipment, Hoosier Tire, Greenbrier Auto Sales,Mike Barretts Wrecker service, Bay Metals, Pull A Part and several other businesses that are interested in supporting our racers..
It is always refreshing to speak with TW as is a young man with a lot of class and character about him. TW and his 31 W Insulation machine are steadily looking for more wins this season. Even though TW has not raced a full schedule of racing in several years he has matured in a real threat to Win in the White #61 Late Model anytime he hits the high banks of Highland Rim Speedway.. Keep your eye on TW as he has victory lane in his sight.
