With the 2022 Racing Season fast approaching we wanted to take a moment to Thank all of the Car Owners, Drivers, Crew members, Fabricators and Fans that make racing at Veterans Motorplex such an Awesome time for everyone. Because of our dedicated race teams and staff we have the Best and most Competitive RACING in the South.
March is FAST approaching and many are already Renting the track to get those HOT RODS tuned up for what is going to be a great year of Racing. Here’s a little information about the 2022 racing season coming up. We have a huge schedule this year with 30 plus racing weekends ahead for Veterans Motorplex in 2022 plus more divisions each racing night. 38 Race dates including the Spring Nationals for Legends and Bandoleros during April. If you missed this last year you missed some great racing.
The Track is now available for Rent 6 days a week, Monday through Saturday, 9am to 5pm. Call Jerry at 615-430-3135 to reserve the track!
We are blessed to be growing in car counts as last year our car counts were up in every weekly division. Unfortunately some are not as blessed as we continue to lose race tracks with Kentucky Motor Speedway not scheduled to open this year plus the loss of some other tracks.Sadly this happens for many reasons but as lovers of this sport we must all dig a little deeper and band together and form a stronger bond and support all our local race track owners and make sure the places we want to be are here for years to come and are profitable.
With that being said we are facing a tough decision but one we must make concerning TEST & TUNE DAYS. Test and Tune Days are not being utilized by enough teams to be worthy of continuing in a successful business model. The pricing structure for these TEST days were created to be profitable with 20-25 Teams participating to create a super economical way to test your cars.
This Test and Tune structure ($20 per person for 4 hours of track time) worked good for many years however things change and on many days we have 8 or less teams using the facility with many of these only being a driver and their car. This lack of support is telling us that these days are not needed thus we cut them out. Or we need to make adjustments in the time and day we have them so more can participate or that we simply need make a change the amount a team pays to use the facility so they still have a more economical way to test each week than renting the Facility
Until Further Notice Veterans Motorplex will NOT be scheduling any Open TEST & TUNE Days.
Test Time on the Track is ONLY available by renting the facility.
Track rental is available for $200 for 2 hours of practice for 1 car. $250 for 2 cars / $300 for 3 cars.

We are still open to suggestions and want your help in this matter to come up with a price structure that makes it possible to keep test and tune days both affordable for our teams and profitable enough to make it worthwhile for the Track to continue doing these. Send us your suggestions and maybe what other 1/4 mile tracks charge or do that continue to have TEST & TUNE Days. We look forward to your suggestions.
