ROAD DOG RACING DIVISION:
2023 will be the FINAL year that the Honda DOHC V-Tec Engines will be able to run in this Division. For 2024 All Honda DOHC Cars will have to move up to run with the Pest Doctor Ridge Runners and make all necessary upgrades to their car to meet the rules of the Pest Doctor Ridge Runners.
Racers we are going to say this one more time. If you do not want your car scratched, dented, hit, bumped, door slammed etc... You should load your car and LEAVE now and stop at Union Hill and try drag racing. I fyou stay here You will be bumped, Door Slammed, knocked sideways, etc… in this division. That is part of short track racing. This is an entry level divison for racers with Dual overhead (DOHC) FWD cars and I promise you will get your car bent up and scratched up.
Drivers please build your cars for the Road Dogs, Road Warriors, and Screamin Demons to come have fun. If you think you are going to come here and run over someone and nothing get done to you or think you can get out of your car and BULLY someone or try to fight someone everytime someone gets against your car or act like a fool in this division you are sadly mistaken and you will be sent home for an extended vacation along with your friends. We cannot have that type action in front of our fans and mostly our families and children. It simply will not be tolerated in ANY division but especially a entry level division.
ROAD DOGS:
Beginning tonight you can NOW break out on ANY lap of the race.
Including the final 2 laps of the race however we will lower the break out time to 16:20 on the last two laps of the race so you can race for the win..
You will not know if you broke out on the final two laps of the race until after the race is complete as it will be decided by the transponders electronically. We will not throw X Flags on the last two laps of the race.
The winner of the race will be the first driver on the Lead lap that does NOT break out (go below 16:20 lap time) on the last timed lap
If all lead lap drivers breaks out on the last timed lap of the race then the winner will be the driver on the lead lap whos’ last timed lap was closest to a 16:20, then the next closest etc.. etc....
ROAD WARRIOR RACING DIVISION:
Beginning tonight you can break out on ANY lap of the RACE. Including the final two laps of the RACE. We will lower the break out time on the FINAL two (2) laps to 16:70 to allow you a little room to race for the win.
You will not know if you have broken out until the race is over as the transponders will electronically notify scoring of who broke out and scoring will figure out who won the race. We will not throw X flags on the final 2 laps of the race.
The winner of the race will be the first driver on the lead lap that did not break out on the last timed lap of the event.
If all lead lap drivers breaks out on the final timed lap of the race then the winner will be the driver on the lead lap whos’ last timed lap was the closest to a 16:70, then the next closest etc.. etc....
CELEBRATIONS AFTER THE RACES:
Ladies and Gentleman.. WE LOVE it when you do burn outs after the races while the gates are closed and smoke up the place and the fans LOVE it…. HOWEVER
Once the racing is over for the NIGHT and the fans and families are allowed across the track. ALL CELEBRATIONS MUST CEASE.. IT IS SIMPLY TOO DANGEROUS and Very easy for a child to get scared and run out in front of you and you not see them and run over them and kill them or hurt them severely. WE cannot take that chance and that is exactly why someone was suspended for 2 races last week.. They continued to celebrate after fans were allowed onto the track and that simple CANNOT HAPPEN. PLEASE PLEASE BE CAREFUL and go no more than 5 mile per hour when fans are present.
Late Models TIRE RULE CLARIFICATION:
Clarification on how the TIRE BANK works on Late Models
For a Late Model Race TEAM to be able to Purchase Two New Tires each race for a LATE MODEL… Race teams MUST have their race car at the track to race, pay the entry fee to get in and start the race. You cannot show up at the track with your car just to purchase tires and go home so you have 4 tires the next race.
