RULE REVISIONS for PRO LATE MODEL DIVISION CRATE ENGINES
Effective June 1st, 2024
All 604 GM I FORD CRATE Engine CRA / Nashville Type Cars will no longer be required to run the 1.25" Restrictor Plates.
Chip Rule still in effect for Nashville I CRA Engine packages
6500 Chip for CHEVY - 6300 Chip for FORD
Weight & Carburetors for all Crate Engine (Package to Package the Same)
Weights for both CRA/ Nashville or RIM LM Package using Crate engines will
now be the same weights including before I after weights and left side.
WEIGHTS FOR ALL Late MODELS with CRATE ENGINES & Rev Chip
RIM Late MODELS run BOX Stock SPEC Shocks and NO Rev Limiter.
50 or 55 Lap Race
Weight for GM 604 Crate Engine, Left Side 58.0% Max, Before Race 2850, After Race 2800, Rev. Chip 6500
Weight for Ford Crate Engine, Left Side 58.0% Max, Before Race 2875, After Race 2825, Rev. Chip 6300
Must be a unaltered working Chip connected to the ignition system per manufacturer I Track Tech specs.
(No switches etc, or blacked out lights on the rev limiter)
(No loose wires in the car)
May run a 602 Sealed Crate Engine with CRA / Nashville package with 650 Carburetor, No restrictor plates. Left Side Weight 58.0% Max, Before Race 2800 After Race 2750, Rev. Chip 6500
Anyone using the CRA/ASA NASHVILLE package without KONI Spec Shocks MUST run a SPOOL & correct specified Rev Limiter Chip.
