Driver Profile

Landen Herring is 13 years old and out of Port Leyden, NY. He started racing go-karts on dirt and indoors at the age of 4. He expanded his racing career at age 5, racing on snowmobiles during the winter at hill climbs and flat drag tracks. In 2024, Landen began his INEX Legend racing career at Evans Mills Raceway Park. He also has his sights on a sprint car and was able to test one out in the fall of 2024. Ward Racing recently purchased a sprint car for Landen to run later in the year at CanAm speedway in the 602 crate class. He will be pulling double duty on dirt in the sprint of Fridays and on asphalt in the legend on Saturdays.

Over his years in the go kart and on his snowmobiles, Landen earned himself 71 trophies, 39 medals, 24 plaques, and multiple placement stickers.
In his first year in a go kart, Landen was awarded “Rookie of the Year" at Caroga Creek Raceway.
For your first year in the legend, Landen met every personal goal he set for himself. His best finish was 4th place in a mixed field class, though he had multiple 2nd place finishes as a Young Lion. Landen finished the 2024 season 7th place in points overall at EMRP. He also finished 88th in the Young Lion division, with a 100% accuracy for top 3 finishes. Lastly, Landen placed 8th in the state of NY for the Young Lions.
