About Ty
Ty Scott has been racing short track cars on and off since 2013, starting at his home track, the Sportsdrome Speedway. Growing up around the track, with his dad racing Dromers at sportsdrome speedway, sparked an early interest in racing for both Ty and his brother. In 2013, they both began their racing careers in the front-wheel-drive class. Over the years, they progressed to the Pro Compacts, competing in the Vores Compact Touring Series and racing at notable tracks such as Five Flags Speedway, Sportsdrome Speedway, Bristol Motor Speedway, and Shady Bowl Speedway. After taking a couple of years off to support his brother's racing endeavors, Ty is set to return in 2025, entering his rookie year in asphalt open-wheel modifieds. He plans to race at Mount Lawn Speedway, Indianapolis Speedrome, Shady Bowl Speedway, and Anderson Speedway.
